As soon as the 1st of September arrives, not only do we hear gunshots — the start of dove-hunting season here in Texas — but EVERYTHING seems to be about pumpkin spice. Not always pumpkin, per se, but pumpkin SPICE! I have been making pumpkin pie and pumpkin bread from fresh pumpkin since my early 20s, and I can tell you firsthand that pumpkin without the spice is rather bland, almost icky 🥴 But once you add sugar and spice, voila! It is completely transformed. Instead of the usual pumpkin spice for this bubbler, it is fragranced with a Pumpkin Pecan Waffles scent. A touch of mica provides just a little sparkle.
